Buy Movie Online
Buying movie online is not a new concept. In fact, many websites did offer consumers the option of buying or downloading movies online but it has only taken off recently.
One of the main reasons is because the technology and ecommerce sophistication has become stable in the last few years and consumers are no longer resistant to such new technology. Fast broadband adoption by many consumers have provided the platform for streaming videos and DVD movie download.
As a result, many websites have begun sprouting on the internet where you can buy movies online either via DVDs or online downloading and movie streaming.
Here are the top movie sites that you can buy movies online
CinemaNow
CinemaNow is an online movie download site that offers a wide selection of movies to download or rent. Most new Hollywood movies are available and if you choose to buy a movie online, it is stored in CinemaNow’s digital library. You can then download it as and when you like. For rental, there is a time period of 24 hours for you to watch the movie online.
It is more economic to get subscription plan if you plan to watch a lot of movies each month. It cost $29.95 per month and is pretty affordable.
Movielink
Movielink is a joint venture that is supported by the major film distributors. Movie heavyweights such as Sony Pictures, Universal Studios and Paramount Pictures among others contributed their latest movies on Movielink for rental or download.
Currently, it cost less than 5 bucks per download. Older movies typically cost less, usually you can rent or buy a movie online for less than 1 dollar. Be sure to check their website though as prices sometimes may changed.
Vongo
Vongo is pretty new and is based on a subscription plan. Basically you pay $9.99 per month and you can download unlimited movies online. There are separate charges for premium movies and TV shows but it is still relatively cheap.
If you want to buy movie online, I highly recommend Movielink as it has the largest selection of current Hollywood movies and the prices are reasonable.
Filmfare Awards 2009 – A ‘Calculated’ Prediction on Bollywood Awards 2008
In the months to come by, we will bear witness to the various kinds of Bollywood awards, Filmfare Awards, Screen Award, Zee Cine Awards, Sansui Awards, Stardust award, IIFA Awards..The most prestigious and well attended of the lot is the Filmfare Award(though it had a dismal attendance last year). Filmfare Awards are also generous of the lot, if they cannot fit an actor in their list, they make a special category for him/her with flashy names like ‘special award’ ‘ outstanding performer’ etc. Last year, in 2007, we had Shahrukh Khan facing the heat from the child prodigy Darsheel Safary.
This time in 2008 Bollywood awards, SRK’s fantastic act in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi has intense competition from his favorite rivals: Hrithik Roshan and Aamir Khan. Hold on to your seats, get the popcorn out, and go through Filmfare Awards 2009. Though it is a tad early, here is a calculated prediction on the Filmfare Award 2009 and many other awards that will precede or follow it. You are free to argue on our choice of Filmfare Awards and other Bollywood awards.

Watch Hindi Movie Before Seeing Kannada Movies Online
Watching Kannada movies online is a great idea if you want to get to know the culture of Karnataka before you are about to travel there or you are about to make business in Bangalore for example. But to understand the context I really recommend to watch at least one today’s and one historical Hindi movie before. By doing so you could feel the differences that are represented in different cultures in India. You would also recognize that Hindi movie is always a bit more modern than Kannada ones.
One of the interesting facts that you could investigate is the relationship of a Hindi movie to Soviet Union film industry in last century. You would find that they were closely related, especially if you look at it from Soviet Union side. Actually some of Hindi movie actors become great heroes in Russia those days. Raj Kapoor was adored by huge amount of soviet women for example. When he came to Moscow people recognized him on the streets. Bollywood and Soviet film industry have also made some films together in the past. More closer look gives you a feeling that Bengali film industry was very much connected to Russian cinema. Tarkovski, the great soviet movie maker, was a big example to lot of directors of Bangla movie those days and as I hear also today some student in Satyajit Ray Film Institute set his films on pedestal for themselves.
This is something that you would not find for example in watching Kannada movies online. They represent a bit different India all together.
